Sure enough: The weekend after finally winning his lawyer-infested Senate brawl, there was Al Franken snuggling and kissing a baby on the front page of Sunday’s Star Tribune. Instead of hanging out with entertainment industry types or vacationing with rich friends, Franken was in hot pursuit of blue collar “atta-boys!” and other warm fuzzies up on the Iron Range over the 4th of July.
In addition to playing “regular Joe,” Franken let us know that he’s preparing for a hum-drum entrance into the Senate. According to the Star Tribune,
in Franken’s first months in the Senate, battles over weighty national issues may take a back seat to the more parochial matters of constituent service.
Advisers such as Drew Littman, who organized [Hillary] Clinton’s Senate office, have counseled Franken to focus on Minnesota issues and the details of policy.
‘It’s tempting in the Senate to see it as a place where you can work on any national issue,’ said Littman, Franken’s new chief of staff. ‘He’s going to dig in on the local stuff.’
So what’s the deal? Is this a new, gentlemanly Al Franken who no longer believes that Republicans should be locked up in re-education camps?
Not at all. This past weekend, we saw Franken’s campaign to “mainstream” himself swing into high gear.
It’s a two-step plan.
In Step One, Franken shoots for news reports that include only vague, general reminders of his pre-Senate life. This is the “forget-the-former-Franken” part of the campaign.
News reports – like the Sunday Star Tribune article – may acknowledge that our new senator was occasionally a “bit too edgy” in the past. But gone is any reminder of Franken’s ugly public disdain for Christians, or any question regarding whether a soft-core pornographic “satirist” is a suitable member of our nation’s most august deliberative body.
Step Two of the campaign is the reinventing of Franken as a serious, “nose to the grindstone” public servant. Say hello to our baby-cuddling, State-Fair-attending, blue-collar-buddy, constituent-service-focused new man in Washington.
Are we going to get this vanilla version of Franken as our senator? Don’t count on it. Once the transition period is over, he’ll have plenty of opportunities for a repeat performance of his class-clown shtick.
Next time, though, his playground won’t be Saturday Night Live. It will be the United States Senate, where he’ll be casting critical votes on America’s health care, the national economy, and the ever-present threats that loom in a very dangerous world.
I still can’t believe you people elected him to the U. S. Senate. Are you that starved for celebrities that you have to follow up Ventura with Franken? The country is laughing at you! Notice I said you a lot since I don’t live in MN anymore? Ha, Ha.
Just wait until he opens his mouth without thinking and embarasses you even more, can’t change the stripes on a tiger!
Sound the sad trombone for KK…wah wah wah waaaaaaaah.
I didnt vote for or like Al Franken, but Ill give him a chance to do his job before I make a judgement.
“Notice I said you a lot since I don’t live in MN anymore? Ha, Ha.”

I thought that was Michael Jackson on his last date.
“Are we going to get this vanilla version of Franken as our senator? Don’t count on it. Once the transition period is over, he’ll have plenty of opportunities for a repeat performance of his class-clown shtick.”
Perhaps we should hope for something better instead of predicting goof-ball chaos.
Maybe he’ll end up being sincere?
“Next time, though, his playground won’t be Saturday Night Live. It will be the United States Senate, where he’ll be casting critical votes on America’s health care, the national economy, and the ever-present threats that loom in a very dangerous world.”
The world has always been full of danger.
The impending doom culture of distrust towards anyone who differs from American opinion is getting old .. and more importantly, not a great tool towards a less hostile environment.
I hate to break this to you KK, but conservatives don’t have the infinite solution to world-peace nor does the liberal faction ..
but I’d bet a more moderate group would come much closer.
In all, AF is not perfect, but Norm wasn’t a poster child for perfection in the morality picture either … far from it.
This Michael Jackson died business is getting to be waaaaaaay too much.
any question regarding whether a soft-core pornographic “satirist” is a suitable member of our nation’s most august deliberative body.
Suitable? It’s a step up the moral ladder.

The correct term is cottonheads.

I’m not sure he can compete with Bachman .. she’s got that covered pretty well.
“Suitable? It’s a step up the moral ladder.”
You mean that he writes it and doesn’t participate in it?
DOH!
Bill O’Reilly called Dr. Tiller “Tiller the Baby Killer” on 28 different shows before someone killed him. Does that count as extremist rhetoric?
How is that extremist rhetoric. Millions of American’s believe abortion is nothing more than “baby killing”, myself included. Disagreeing with a person on abortion issues, regardless of how vehemently, and going out and shooting that person are two very different things. But I guess in your world making fun of a person is pretty much the same as putting a hit on them. Well, when it’s a Republican talking at least.
This Michael Jackson died business is getting to be waaaaaaay too much.
I stopped paying attention 10 minutes after hearing about it. What a waste of time. Who cares? He’s an entertainer. If Bruce Willis dies, I’m not going to lose any sleep over it.
” If Bruce Willis dies, I’m not going to lose any sleep over it. ”
That’s because he didn’t do any chick flicks ..

You know, when the campaign was going on and there was that huge flap about the humor piece in Playboy, I found it online somewhere and read it to see what the fuss was all about. It was a fanciful fictional narration of a tour of some lab where they were developing virtual sex technology. Mostly it was stupid and not that funny. Not as good as his SNL material really. But there was one awesome joke in it. When asked what sort of virtual sex he’d like to experience, Franken’s answer was,
“well, I’ve been married 25 years, so I’d like a [fellatio]”
Laughed out loud at that.
Then I got a little sad.
I’ll have my 7-year anniversary in Sept.
“But I’m betting that if Patrick Swayze passes, you’ll be in morning for weeks .”
He whuped some serious @ss in Road House with Sam Elliot.
“The correct term is cottonheads. ”
I can’t wait to use that one on my parents in January ..
‘when are you guys going to cottonhead land?’
That oughta go over well ..
“He whuped some serious @ss in Road House with Sam Elliot. ”
Yes he did ..
Sam Elliot plays that old bouncer/biker role well.
“Then I got a little sad.
I’ll have my 7-year anniversary in Sept.”
DAR ..
it’s good to have goals.
Katherine, now that he is Minnesota’s junior senator, let’s give him a chance before judging his performance as a senator (as opposed to his performance as a comedian, which is fair game).
I just read an interesting article you all might enjoy. www.thenation.com/blogs/edcut/448533/rediscovering_secular_america

Yep, the fellatio line graph from marraige forward looks just like Al Gore’s global warming graph, in reverse.

Yep the dreaded inverted hockey stick, which also looks like, uh never mind. This is a family blog.
“Don’t count on it. Once the transition period is over, he’ll have plenty of opportunities for a repeat performance of his class-clown shtick.”
So what if Franken reverts to form and cracks some jokes on the Senate floor?
After all the prurient material that got read into the Congressional record during the Clinton impeachment I don’t think he would exactly be sullying a dignified institution.
Kate Kersten needs to accept the facts that (a) “Christianity” does not govern this country and (b) Al Franken won the election, has more education than she will ever have, and is now the senator from the great state of Minnesota for the next six years. So get over your sniping and move on to your other anti-Christian targets.
“Next time, though, his playground won’t be Saturday Night Live. It will be the United States Senate, where he’ll be casting critical votes on America’s health care, the national economy, and the ever-present threats that loom in a very dangerous world”
That’s right. And if we the people don’t like the way he casts those votes, he won’t get re-elected. Kinda like his predecessor.
I guess I choose to see this as Franken didn’t earn my vote during his campaign, but he won (barely) anyway and now he has a chance to earn my vote in another six years. He’ll have to do something substantive in his service to do that. I don’t realy share Katherine’s misgivings though.
StarFleckle, I expect Katherine probably has more education than Franken in terms of degrees etc. That part of your assertion is likely wrong. Honorary degrees Frankem may have picked up for giving commencement speeches or whatever don’t count, either. Just like ketchup ain’t a vegetable in school lunches.
But the Constitution doesn’t specify a minimum level of education to serve as Senator so what’s the point really?
I didn’t vote for Al either, but I trust him more than Norm Coleman. I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, see how he does, and what decisions he makes. I don’t hold his comedian job against him (even if I didn’t find him funny). Rather, because so many comedians have to be pretty quick and smart, I am curious as to how he’ll do. He can’t be any less of an embarrassment than Wellstone was or Tim Pawlenty is.
Dubble_A, you bring up a great point about one of the benefits and dangers of our democracy. We don’t have an education requirement, so anyone can be elected, regardless of their intelligence/common sense/ability to communicate. While I may not agree with Obama on many points, I appreciate that he is articulate and able to think/put together a coherent sentence. After eight years of idiocy and Sarah Palin in the election, I’m glad we have the potential to seem more educated as a nation.
But I am curious about Kersten’s education credentials. What are they, Katherine? Where did you go to college? Graduate school? Writing school?
Just checked. Franken has a BA from Harvard. Nice designer undergrad degree, but Katherine has a JD.
Perhaps by asserting that Franken is “more educated than [Katherine] ever will be” our new feckless friend is trying to suggect that Katherine’s perspective is one born of ignorance. To that I say, don’t underestimate her. Rather, I posit to you she is a highly educated person who attempts to achieve her political ends by manipulating the opionions of the ignorant.
“The city, in the midst of a budget crisis, will foot the bill, said Councilwoman Jan Perry last week. But it needs help. By the time the memorial begins, about 3,000 officers will be at the Staples Center site, police said. ”

“But a court filing estimates that his estate will be worth more than $500 million.”
- Associated Press
His estate better pay for this thing.
It strikes me that Kersten must be disappointed that Franken has given her so little fodder for outrage. She is reduced to rehashing his past work as a comedian, and warning us that respectable Al is a ruse, and crazy Al will be back. Don’t be fooled! He will return! The sky is falling!
St. Paul, by the time people are Al’s age, they are who they are. Who do you think Al is?
“Who do you think Al is?”
I’ll tell you this, he’s not Wellstone. Sure, they were friends and all, might be aligned on their policy views but when Franken took his oath on Wellstone’s Bible I wonder if he reflected on how Wellstone won a clear majority with a brilliant low-overhead underdog grassroots campaign while Franken won a contestable squeaker in a media-saturating politics-as-usual campaign fueled by tons of money flowing in from outside the state.
That said, who is Al? What face will he show the nation on our behalf? I personally hope he is mostly polite but lets slip with a few insulting witty rejoinders in the midst of debate now and then. And I have no problem with him going on calling Rush Limbaugh a big fat idiot.
Hi, all,
I will give Mr. Franken the benefit of the doubt, and hope he rises to his new office.
All I know about him is that I read his book Lying Liars and found it full of factual errors (which I can quote if necessary).
One other thing that I don’t know for sure, but have nightmares about (really!) is now that The Man Who Claims To Be President has a veto-proof and filibuster-proof majority in the senate, he will try harder to make himself Führer of the NSUSA. First and Second Amendment rights are already in his gun sights, and I will bet my house that he will try got get around the 22nd Amendment as well.
“The Man Who Claims To Be President”
Whats this mean?
Dang, FC,
That reads more like a Dare2Sayit post than a Former Carrier post.
What the heck is the “NSUSA?”
Please tell me NS doesnt stand for National Soci@l:st. FC, seriously, take a break.
Hi, all,
Good questions, folks. Now let me remind you it was a nightmare, and I forgot to add that I do really hope I’m wrong.
“The Man Who Claims To Be President” –
I have it on authority I trust that Obama’s birth record in Hawaii is sealed, that a grandmother claims to have witnessed his birth in Kenya, and that he has never proven that he is a natural-born American citizen legally entitled to hold the office.
What the heck is the “NSUSA?”
National Sóciàlist United States of America.
The comparison to Hitler is intentional. I have read Mein Kampf twice, biographies of Hitler by John Toland, Robert G. L. Waite, Alan Bullock, and August Kubizek (Hitler Mein Jugenfreund). Also Speer’s books, Goebbels’ diaries, and Shirer’s Rise and Fall of the Third Reich twice.
The two men look and sound the same to me. Again, I hope I am wrong, but I’m afraid I’m right. Just like in 1961, when a friend of mine and I in our senor year of high school, predicted that if we fought a conventional war in Vietnam we were going to have our butts handed to us on a platter.
“I have it on authority I trust that Obama’s birth record in Hawaii is sealed, that a grandmother claims to have witnessed his birth in Kenya, and that he has never proven that he is a natural-born American citizen legally entitled to hold the office.”
FC, this is a pretty old one. Still lame, and getting older.
“The two men look and sound the same to me. Again, I hope I am wrong, but I’m afraid I’m right.”
You should have a long talk with Downtown Dan, he’d get a kick out of it. So who do you think Obama is going to gas first?
You’ve wandered into D2 land.
I have it on authority I trust that Obama’s birth record in Hawaii is sealed, that a grandmother claims to have witnessed his birth in Kenya, and that he has never proven that he is a natural-born American citizen legally entitled to hold the office.
Even if this were true, doesn’t the fact that his mother was an American citizen when he was born qualify him for citizenship? Some American women do give birth to their children overseas, and these children are still American citizens, right?
“Even if this were true, doesn’t the fact that his mother was an American citizen when he was born qualify him for citizenship?”
I dont think it does. You have to born in the US form my understanding.
“Some American women do give birth to their children overseas, and these children are still American citizens, right?”
But they cant be President.
Hi, all,
You’ve wandered into D2 land.
I agree, that could well be.
his mother was an American citizen
True, but the way I heard it is that an American woman giving birth to a baby overseas has to be a certain age to pass along her citizenship, and Mr. Obama’s mom wasn’t. Of course I could be wrong.
Now back to Mr. Franken: I am willing to go digging in my copy of Lying Liars and point out Mr. Franken’s errors. After shopping and lunch, though. :-)
“Some American women do give birth to their children overseas, and these children are still American citizens, right?”
The rule is only if both parents are US citizens.
“Of course I could be wrong”

ttp://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2008/jun/27/obamas-birth-certificate-part-ii/
I dont think it does. You have to born in the US form my understanding.
I checked this out on Wikipedia (which for this purpose should suffice). Apparently you are a U.S. citizen if only one of your parents is a citizen, no matter where you are born — but only if you were born on or after November 14, 1986. For dates prior to that, both parents would need to be citizens if you were born outside of the United States.
But they cant be President.
Debatable. Again from Wikipedia:
The term “natural born Citizen” has never been defined by the Courts in the course of a Presidential qualification challenge. It is believed by some that this provision means that only persons born on U.S. soil to two U.S. citizens are “natural born Citizens” of the nation and eligible to become President. There are others who believe that anyone who acquires citizenship by any means other than naturalization is a “natural born Citizen” and eligible for the Presidency. In between these extremes lie gray areas, some controversy, and various obiter dicta from the courts. A majority of commentators today argue that the Presidential Eligibility clause incorporates both common-law (jus soli) and English statutory (jus sanguinis) principles.
I believe that Obama’s father was never a U.S. citizen. So if “natural born Citizen” does indeed mean that one must be born on U.S. soil to two citizen parents, we could have an issue. But since “natural born Citizen” has never been defined, and is in fact a subject of considerable debate, we’ll probably never know.
Annie git yur gun.
Let’s ask the Constitution:
“No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States. “
So I guess it comes down to interpretation. Does “natural born citizen” mean you have to be born ON American soil, or merely be born to an American citizen (rather than attaining citizenship by oath later on)?
Or does it mean test tube babies can’t be President?
The nutty theory that FC has bought into is that Obama wasn’t born on American soil and that means he isn’t a natural-born citizen. The version of the theory that I’ve heard has him born in Indonesia not Kenya. Some nutters have been trying to sue to contest the election but I think their main goal is simply to cast aspersions on the Presidents’ legitimacy. The gambit seems to have worked in FC’s case. But reading the Constitution just now I’m not so sure they’d have a leg to stand on even if they were right about Obama not being born in the country. What does “natural born” mean exactly?
“The two men look and sound the same to me.”
Ok, one was white, make that Aryan, the other is of mixed African-American ethnicity.
One spoke german, the other speaks english.
And these are the similarities between Hitler and Obama?
Yikes. FC, what color is the sky in your world?
“One other thing that I don’t know for sure, but have nightmares about (really!) is now that The Man Who Claims To Be President has a veto-proof and filibuster-proof majority in the senate, he will try harder to make himself Führer of the NSUSA. First and Second Amendment rights are already in his gun sights, and I will bet my house that he will try got get around the 22nd Amendment as well. ”
Why do you think he’s trying to undermine the 1st and 2nd?
Just me, but I’d think the 1st was a bit more under pressure by a conservative ‘fuhrer’ than a more moderate liberal one.
True, but the way I heard it is that an American woman giving birth to a baby overseas has to be a certain age to pass along her citizenship
I didn’t see an age requirement. There were some residency requirements, but nothing about age.
The gambit seems to have worked in FC’s case.
And probably in MOI’s, too! (No, I don’t miss him.)
I think it’s telling that federal judges, who have studied the Constituion far more than myself, refuse to hear the case.
You should have a long talk with Downtown Dan, he’d get a kick out of it.
So many Hitlers I can barely keep up.
While Hitler and Obama have similar charismatic talent, seems to me the similarity stops there. Last I checked Obama wasn’t trying to whip us into a frenzy to go commit genocide.
But I find myself wondering if this isn’t about the pro-choice thing.
I suspect any President who favors keeping abortion legal will be comapared by FC to Hitler.
Did anyone look at the link I provided? In June of 08 Obama provided a copy of his Birth Cert to the media. The HI Dept Of Health’s spokesperson confirmed the cert. Game over end of story. He was born in HI to an American Citizen.
The quote i like from the link Deac provided is this:
“And soon enough, after going to every length possible to confirm the birth certificate’s authenticity, you start asking, what is reasonable here?
Because if this document is forged, then they all are.
If this document is forged, a U.S. senator and his presidential campaign have perpetrated a vast, long-term fraud. They have done it with conspiring officials at the Hawaii Department of Health, the Cook County (Ill.) Bureau of Vital Statistics, the Illinois Secretary of State’s office, the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois and many other government agencies.
Sounds like a Vince Flynn novel.”
FC .. don’t wander into that dark night .. err .. dare2sayit.com …
You’re far more intelligent than that ..
Dubble_a, what is a “nice, designer degree”?
He was born in HI to an American Citizen.
But not to two American citizens, which some people will argue means Obama is not technically a “natural born citizen,” and therefore ineligible for the United States presidency.
I suspect that people who disapprove of Obama would be the ones making such an argument — and that if the candidate they preferred had been born in similar circumstances and had won the presidency, they’d argue the opposite.
ttp://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/Music/07/07/michael.jackson.wrap/index.html
Im not seeing the family resemblance. I cant wait for the paternity records and or adoption papers to come out.
“Dubble_a, what is a “nice, designer degree”? ”
A BA from Harvard. Nice designer (i.e. private school) degree, but Katherine has advanced degrees that refute Starfreckle’s claim she’s less educated than Franken.
Harvard graduates a lot of comedians for some reason. A lot of the Simpson’s writers went to Harvard too.
“But not to two American citizens”
Wikipedia isnt a source for any purpose. Id like to see that wikipedia source explain what an anchor baby is then.
“If you were born in the United States (including, in most cases, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands), you are an American citizen at birth (unless you were born to a foreign diplomat). Your birth certificate is proof of your citizenship.”
ttp://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=9424d88de8c9f010VgnVCM1000000ecd190aRCRD&vgnextchannel=96719c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD
He was born in the US. The citizenship of his parents at that time is irrelevant.
I went to a private college and university for all my schooling (I have an Ed. D.), and I wouldn’t say they were designer. While a JD is certainly a higher degree than a BA from Harvard, I hardly think it’s fair to discount the work needed for a BA (cum laude) from Harvard. “Designer degree” implies he didn’t work or just showed up and got a piece of paper (much like GW with his C average at Yale and inability to articulate any clear sentence). But I agree. Katherine has an education even if her writing is shaky (on logical grounds).
““Designer degree” implies he didn’t work or just showed up and got a piece of paper (much like GW with his C average at Yale and inability to articulate any clear sentence).”
It does? It means to me that the schools name carries more weight.
My understanding is KK went to Notre Dame.
Wikipedia isnt a source for any purpose.
You just like to be an argumentative know-it-all. You’re starting to sound like MOI.
I thought the Wiki article gave a pretty good summary of the issue. Although your 3:04 p.m. post was a better source for a definition of “citizen,” it lacks a discussion of the concept of “natural born citizen,” which is germane to the discussion of qualifications for the presidency of the United States.
“Designer degree” implies he didn’t work or just showed up and got a piece of paper”.
I don’t know where you got this implication from. I was more poking at the perceived qualitative distinction between the esoteric and the generic. The expensive vs. the inexpensive. The exclusive versus the hoi polloi. Calvin Klein Jeans vs. Wrangler. Capiche?
Graduating cum laude is a good accomplishment though to be sure. He musta cracked a couple books.
Deacon, good point. I do get more leverage in my field (education) having an MA from University of Chicago. I didn’t think of that connotation. Thank you.
“The country is laughing at you! Notice I said you a lot since I don’t live in MN anymore? Ha, Ha.”
Average_Guy,
The country WAS laughing. Its kinda like watching a drunk buddy fall down a flight of stairs and then realizing he broke both his arms and everyone else is to hammered to drive him to the ER.
But its funny again the next night when you’re out with your buddies drinking and laughing your a$$es off retelling the story.
Wikipedia articles are not a good source, but you can look for good sources within them. The good articles are written like scholarly papers with number footnotes.
I heard a story on NPR once where some think tank compared Wikipedia to Encyclopedia Brittanica and found them to have about the same frequency of inaccuracy in their articles.
“You just like to be an argumentative know-it-all. You’re starting to sound like MOI.”
That may be but there is a very good reason that Wiki cant be trusted. Go to a reliable source if you want good info. And dont act for a minute like you’re not a know it all too. I always thought you and MOI disliked each other so much because you were SOOOOO similar, aside from the gay thing of course.
If you give me a minute EBF, I’ll change the article in wiki on citizenship and then cut and paste it.
While working as a bouncer the degree of pain I was able to endure and the degree of the scars present gave me a great deal of respect ..
as such, the SoHK gave me credibility and in most instances respect.
“Although your 3:04 p.m. post was a better source for a definition of “citizen,” it lacks a discussion of the concept of “natural born citizen,” which is germane to the discussion of qualifications for the presidency of the United States.”
He was born in the US. Thats all thats relevant. The other people can scream and cry all they want it doesnt make it relevant in the least. There is nothing in the law about parents citizenship having anything to do with it whether it be one or two. It also isnt in the constitution that your parents need to be citizens either.
If he was born over seas there would be some more enterpretation of what “natural born” means and what his parents citizenship was. In this case his being born here ends the argument in its tracks.
What? KK writes: “Instead of hanging out with entertainment industry types or vacationing with rich friends, Franken was in hot pursuit of blue collar “atta-boys!”” I’m sure she’d be equally critical of Normie had he won.. lets see.. his err.. wife lives in LA.. and only comes to MN to play arm piece when convenient for Normie.. and wasn’t that Normie gettin’ trips and housing paid for him by his rich friends who have nothing to do with Mn…But Al is a Dem so he must be mocked, right KK?? Sad.
If you give me a minute EBF, I’ll change the article in wiki on citizenship and then cut and paste it.
Go ahead, Mark. I still find it a decent starting place for many things. I wouldn’t quote it in an academic or professional paper, but I’ve found it is reliable enough as a starting place, if not more, for most things.
And dont act for a minute like you’re not a know it all too.
At least I try to be polite. Until I’m pushed too far.
And at least I can spell and punctuate correctly.
“And at least I can spell and punctuate correctly”
Ouch!!!!!!!!
“In Step One, Franken shoots for news reports that include only vague, general reminders of his pre-Senate life.” He must have learned that from reading your pieces. By the way, its Senator Franken. As a “journalist?”, you should know better.
“And at least I can spell and punctuate correctly.”
Ahhh, the old reliable spelling nazi line. Always a klasic.
“At least I try to be polite. Until I’m pushed too far.”
And then what? You lose your temper?
Its like old times isnt it EBF? I wish MOI was still here.
MOI would actually have been useful in this citizenship debate. I bet he could quote chapter and verse on when it has come up and been ruled on in the courts.
Does “natural born” mean something specific in English Common Law? For example, the Constitution mentions “due process” a couple times without defining it. If you know some Common law you know what the authors mean when they use the term. Maybe “natural born” is like that too. Some standard for citizenship from Jolly ol’ England maybe.
He was born in the US. Thats all thats relevant.
Except that some people, despite all the proof, still think he was born overseas. Then the concept of “natural born citizen” becomes more relevant.
The whole point of my getting into this discussion was to try to point out that even if Obama had not been born in the United States, he would still be a “natural born citizen.” But then I discovered that there is some controversy about the concept of “natural born citizen,” which is what I’ve been writing about since.
There is nothing in the law about parents citizenship having anything to do with it whether it be one or two.
True for citizenship. But we’re not talking about mere citizenship. We’re talking about qualifications necessary for being the President of the United States.
If he was born over seas there would be some more enterpretation of what “natural born” means and what his parents citizenship was. In this case his being born here ends the argument in its tracks.
Until you get the D2s of the world involved. Then you have to try to convince them that even if Obama had been born overseas, he would still meet the qualifications for the office of the presidency.
The whole point, Mark, was that I was trying to refute the claims of Obama’s ineligibility for the presidency even were he not born on U.S. soil. Get it now?
I wish MOI was still here.
That makes one of us….
I bet you spell checked that whole thing didnt you EBF?
That’s because he didn’t do any chick flicks ..
But I’m betting that if Patrick Swayze passes, you’ll be in morning for weeks ..
I walked right into that one…
I always thought you and MOI disliked each other so much because you were SOOOOO similar, aside from the gay thing of course
We all know MOI is gay, but EBF?
I’m not buying it.
“MOI would actually have been useful in this citizenship debate. I bet he could quote chapter and verse on when it has come up and been ruled on in the courts.”
When you’re 14 and living at home you can do that ..
Ahhh, the old reliable spelling nazi line. Always a klasic.
Your dumb.
“I walked right into that one… ”
Yes, it was just waiting ..
and you took it well.
You’re a good sh!t in the long run DJ ..
of course, a long runny sh!t is often frowned upon.
DOH!
I still think EBF’s farewell to MOI was a classic ..
and even more entertaining when D2 tried to copy it ..
Designer degree” implies he didn’t work or just showed up and got a piece of paper (much like GW with his C average at Yale and inability to articulate any clear sentence)
Ahhh… so Bush got a “designer degree” but Franken didn’t?
DJ..
44mag blackhawk ..
a dude that needs $$$.
My fortress needs a cannon.
“Your dumb.”
Good effort.
Your dumb.
Ur dummer.
Ya know .. I kinda wish that D2 would run for office and win as a congress person ..
This blog would be lively …
44mag blackhawk ..
a dude that needs $$$
Are you saying you bought one? Selling one? I don’t speak 14-year-old girl text message English.
You would think I would after all those chick flicks…
(Ha! Stole your line!)
“You would think I would after all those chick flicks…
(Ha! Stole your line!)”
First of all ..
D!ckhead.
Second, I’m thinking that a cannon would be good out here and am pondering purchasing it.
Yeah, if you want to get one and have a guy who wants the money, go for it. It’d be useful in shooting the squirrels that try to steal your birdfeed.
I have a friend who’s mother broke her leg in a car accident. As she was mostly confined to the house over the next couple months, she noticed that squirrels kept stealing all her feed from her bird feeders. She borrowed a neighbor’s gun and started shooting the squirrels and apparently got pretty good at it. Her two sons bought her a 6-shooter for her next birthday.
They obviously don’t live in the cities…
“Yeah, if you want to get one and have a guy who wants the money, go for it. It’d be useful in shooting the squirrels that try to steal your birdfeed. ”
We have no squirrels .. but we do have possum and racoons.
I was thinking it would kinda be overkill …sorta ..
Of course, it would be loud.
Not as loud as a Dan Wesson .. those things are LOUD.
It would be an interesting choice for C&C as well.
DJ, touché. GW DID earn a degree, whatever his GPA. I just found his inability to communicate effectively embarrassing for our country and for Yale. Then again, when most of my honors 7th graders write better than my college students…
I just found his inability to communicate effectively embarrassing for our country and for Yale.
Yeah, he was a terrible public speaker. I don’t think he was as much of an idiot as he came off as. But he certainly sounded like one much of the time.
It would be an interesting choice for C&C as well.
It would look good on a cowboy belt. Kinda big for C&C.
“It would look good on a cowboy belt. Kinda big for C&C. ”
It’s always the fashion aspect with you isn’t it ..
“Kinda big for C&C. ”
That was supposed to be humor .. but again ..you’re first thought was the fashion aspect.
How many chick flicks feature an 8 inch 44 mag?
Wait .. don’t answer that ..
it’s that other genre of ‘chick flicks’ ..
GO would know.
It’s always the fashion aspect with you isn’t it ..
I just have a cowgirl fetish.
Not really, it just looks like a cowboy gun. It’s got that old-school style look to it.
“I just have a cowgirl fetish. ”
There are plenty of them out here.
“Not really, it just looks like a cowboy gun. It’s got that old-school style look to it. ”
It’s a hand cannon .. good for maybe 25 yeards and after that who knows what it might hit.
. . .I will bet my house that he will try got get around the 22nd Amendment as well.
Rep. Jose Serrano (D [what else?]-New York) has already started to do the spadework for the Obama Ad Aeternam Act (H. J. Res. 5). The good news: the economy’s implosion will cool the voters’ ardor for the architect of the fiasco.
So what if Franken reverts to form and cracks some jokes on the Senate floor? After all the prurient material that got read into the Congressional record during the Clinton impeachment I don’t think he would exactly be sullying a dignified institution.
He’s already had a little practice with indecorous gaucherie, but he did have the grace to show contrition in his Harvard Class Day Address in 2002: “. . . I was, ironically, the Ivy Orator twenty-nine years ago. And I’m afraid I used the “f” word quite a few times in my speech. It was 1973. And a couple weeks later I received a note through the class marshal’s office from an outraged parent, saying, “We came to watch you graduate from college, not from kindergarten.” I’ve always felt kinda bad about that, and I was hoping to be invited back so that I could apologize.”
“whether a soft-core pornographic ’satirist’ is a suitable member of our nation’s most august deliberative body.”
Off-hand, I cannot think of any single entity more pornographic or obscene than this “deliberative body”.
“he’ll have plenty of opportunities for a repeat performance of his class-clown shtick.”
He should fit right in with the rest of the clowns.
I am happy Franken won, but only for two reasons. 1) He won by fraud. 2) He had to win in order for Norm to lose.
Franken’s and Coleman’s vote totals fell well within the margin of Democrat fraud. Democrats cheat. So do Republicans, but less. I am not opposed to this. It detracts from any pretenses about a fair election process, and adds to the number of cynics and disdainers among the populace. It is also semi-marginalizing of the politician involved and limits their ability to lead and command respect (see Bush).
Norm had a commanding lead in the polls. Feeling safe, he voted for the bailout for the rich. Many of whom were big contributors to both the Dems and the Republicans. That massive tranfer of wealth from the poor and middle class to the rich finished Norm as US senator. Polls showed people 10 to 1 against the scheme, but sneaky Norm rolled the dice. He voted for it. He thought he was invulnerable. It cost him his senate seat. Good riddance.
Any US Senator who re-finances his own home 12 times in 14 years, has no place trying to participate in the management of the budget of any government entity, either local, state or federal.
Minnesotan’s need to make sure Norm never returns to public life. It’s time for Norm to accept the harsh realities of life as a private citizen and resign himself to live out the rest of his life in obscurity.
Of course, congruent with my philosophy of willfully making government as inept and awful as possible, perhaps I should advocate for Norm the Weasal to become the next US president. Yeah, that’s it. Go Norm!
It’s a hand cannon .. good for maybe 25 yeards and after that who knows what it might hit.
Fifty to one hundred.
“Fifty to one hundred. ”
Standing?
or
with support?
“Of course, congruent with my philosophy of willfully making government as inept and awful as possible, perhaps I should advocate for Norm the Weasal to become the next US president. Yeah, that’s it. Go Norm!”
Wouldn’t this next step require him to change parties ..
again?
I propose he start a new party ..
I would call this party ..
The Scoundrel Party.
They will use the weasel as their icon.
“Standing?
or
with support?”
Depends on the shooter.
If you hike around small(black) bear, that is a good gun to carry for protection. Not for squirrels, but there may be shot loads for it, which might work…or might not. Okay for big raccoons, but not ideal. It can also shoot less powerful .44 special loads which might be better for self defense in the home. Full power magnum loads can shoot completely through a couple of houses. I would have no use for such a gun, but it’s a high quality piece.
It’s sad that idiot voters, ACORN, and a flawed recount made it possible to put an unpopular person in the Senate. Franken with power will only help to make the recession worse.
Mr dare2, I can agree that Franken won by Democrat party cheating. Coleman likely had thousands of more votes than Franken, but not enough to fall outside of the margin of Democrat fraud. Democrats rarely lose elections that are that close anymore. They have established a fraud margin of victory, in most states. It’s nothing new (JFK in Illinois), but they are getting better and more sophisticated at it, and it is now widespread throughout the country.
It’s a part of the liberal Dem mindset. They believe themselves more deserving and that they are really what is best for the country. The end justifies the means, because they are the good guys.
Great points Leland! Thanks for the comments.
Check out the the picture of Al Franken on on my website.
wwww.dare2sayit.com
I hadn’t updated it in a while, but Greg and other liberals inspired me to do so. I’ll do my best to expose the damage the soci@lists who have taken over Washington are doing to this country Leland.
Take care!
It’s sad that idiot voters,
Unlike the geniuses that gave us Michelle “The Gift that Keeps Giving” Bachman.
I am happy Franken won, but only for two reasons. 1) He won by fraud. 2) He had to win in order for Norm to lose.
Ahh.. that’s good stuff.
I’ll do my best to expose the damage the soci@lists who have taken over Washington are doing to this country Leland.
Your website really makes a big difference! HA!
Hey D.T..
The 5th. district gave us radical Keith Hakim Ellison who recently got arrested, was in trouble for domestic abuse, driving violations, and tax evasion, was a good for Nation of Islam racist Louis Farrakhan, and is a stron supporter of CAIR (Council on American Islamist Relations) which openly admits it would like to abolish our Constitution and turn us in to an Islamist State controlled under strict Sharia law.
And you have the balls to pick on Michele Bachmann?
Unlike the geniuses that gave us Michelle “The Gift that Keeps Giving” Bachman.
Now that the recount is over, how else are Minnesotan politicians going to make the headlines?
“Your website really makes a big difference! HA! ”
I think his website convinces potential conservatives to become moderate left wing voters…
mostly because they ask themselves ..
‘if this is what being conservative means, I’d have to be an out and out lying lunatic fascist’
“The 5th. district gave us radical Keith Hakim Ellison who recently got arrested”
For?
“was in trouble for domestic abuse, driving violations, and tax evasion”
Proof and outcomes?
“was a good for Nation of Islam racist Louis Farrakhan”
He left why?
“and is a stron supporter of CAIR (Council on American Islamist Relations) which openly admits it would like to abolish our Constitution and turn us in to an Islamist State controlled under strict Sharia law.”
How does he support them strongly?
And you have the balls to pick on Michele Bachmann?
And still you have to ask yourself, how bad must she be to make Keith look good?
“If you hike around small(black) bear, that is a good gun to carry for protection. Not for squirrels, but there may be shot loads for it, which might work…or might not. It destroys squirrels .. literally.
It is good as a trail gun in the mountains for bear .. it’s also useful at the back door of your home while living in AK for when the bears visit to investigate your trash.
There is also the intimidation factor .. the blackhawk is a very large weapon and a potential threat will probably consider the outcomes when viewing the barrel..
it’s also quite loud.
Ruger also made a mini-14 capable of shooting that round.
Personally, I like a .45 but like a .380 for a smaller caliber weapon.
I didn’t realize you were fond of weapons Leland8 ..
“I hadn’t updated it in a while, but Greg and other liberals inspired me to do so. ”
translation: D2 felt his idiot quotient was deteriorating and had to take drastic steps.
I’m still happy with my Paslode framing nailer.
And my Porter-Cable roof coil nailer made it through a 25-square shingle job without jamming once.
There were a few double fires though.
“Any US Senator who re-finances his own home 12 times in 14 years, has no place trying to participate in the management of the budget of any government entity, either local, state or federal.”
1. I feel kinda dirty that we know this about his affairs.
2. I agree.
But, some of us sometimes do better for our employers than we do for ourselves in the management of our own lives.
“There were a few double fires though. ”
Sounds as though you have some agression issues ..
Naw sometimes the damn gun just spits out two nails at once. And usually the second one doesn’t drive all the way home. You have to stop and pound it.
Got a new compressor too that can run two guns at once. Like that. Bought it at Home Depot so it says “Rigid” on it but really it’s a Campbell-Housefeld. Only complaint is when you first power up, the regulator diaphragm tends to be stuck so you have to screw around with it to get it to regulate. And if you complain to Home Depot about it they tell you to call Campbell-Housfeld. Way to stand behind yer bastard brands.
Seems like the real full-time roofers favor Hitachi guns.
Way to go Greg, you asked D2 for specifics and now he’s run off. I guess he was afraid to admit he used World Net Daily as his reference material.
“And if you complain to Home Depot about it they tell you to call Campbell-Housfeld. Way to stand behind yer bastard brands.”
Unfortunately, they don’t want to take the heat and/or the monetary responsiblity.
A sign of the times.
” I guess he was afraid to admit he used World Net Daily as his reference material”
You know darn well he gets this from his lover ..err .. proctologist.
Get it straight.

Ahhh… politics…
You gotta love Kersten, who once wrote that “facts are stubborn things” but continually plays fast and loose with them.
Al Franken did indeed win a “lawyer-infested Senate brawl,” but Hairdo conveniently ignores that the contest was more importantly prolonged by several months by his opponent and would have still been a “lawyer-infested Senate brawl” if Coleman had prevailed.
It’s hilarious that Kersten tries to poke fun at Franken for having rich friends when Normie has many himself and is still being investigated for gifts and campaign contributions he accepted from Nasser Kazeminy
By accusing Franken (whose wife, Franni, is a Catholic) of showing “public distain for Christians,” Kersten shows that she is still averse to doing research and incapable of understanding satire.
But the crown jewel has to be the airbrushed hack’s portrayal of Franken as a “class clown” since there is no way Franken could ever top Coleman’s unintentionally clownish performance as chair of the Permanent Subcommitte on Investigations. While lap-doggishly ignoring the crimes and misdeeds of the Bush administration, chairman Norm tried to implicate George Galloway in the alleged abuses by the UN’s Oil for Food program and was bitch-slapped so hard his capped teeth needed to be reattached.
Funny stuiff, Kate.
why has one person posted over 20 posts on this board
Watch out guys, it’s the blog police.
Why do you care how many times a person posts on a blog? Some people spend most of their days in front of computers and have plenty of time to contribute to a blog. What’s it to you?
but a bore. a self-righteous bore.
These are what are referred to as “hit-and-run” posts. Something stupid, possibly insulting. But then you run away and ignore any responses.
What I can’t figure out is which one of us they were talking about.
I’m naturally inclined to guess it was meant for me.
it gets a big whatever, whoever the intended target.
I’m thinking it was either you or Greg. Although considering they said, “each post more intellectually arrogant than the one before”, I’m guessing they didn’t look at the picture of Greg or they wouldn’t have used any form of the word “intellect”.
Either way, it’s kind of sad that they spent the time to count the number of posts.
“I’m thinking it was either you or Greg. Although considering they said, “each post more intellectually arrogant than the one before”, I’m guessing they didn’t look at the picture of Greg or they wouldn’t have used any form of the word “intellect”.”
Ouch ..
D!ckhead.
“Either way, it’s kind of sad that they spent the time to count the number of posts. ”
It is.
Whoever it is probably wasn’t breast fed.
I was watching the CSPAN Senate thing on Healthcare and the number being thrown around for a monthly premium was 65$. SIXTY FIVE DOLLARS?
Now do you really think Tiny is going to keep his current Heathcare Insurance that costs him 250 a month?
Second are these b@stards going to put an income restriction on this so it just turns into another welfare program?
“Playing shuffle board now in FL with the other blue hairs?”
I could use some hair, even that kind!
If the millions of uninsured people all got health insurance for $65 a month, that might just pay the tab for all the medical services they currently consume that we the insured indirectly pay for.
Anyone know how many unisured people there are?
“If the millions of uninsured people all got health insurance for $65 a month, that might just pay the tab for all the medical services they currently consume that we the insured indirectly pay for.”
And .. it might create competition.
To Tiny’s point - why would you pay 250 when you can pay 65?
Initially, maybe there should be a pro-rated premium, but based on the potential that should create a better market since the pool is growing.
For sure it would create competition between the govt and private insurers.
What may give the poor competed-with private insurers some relief is that the govt insurance plan will also exert downward pressure on the price health care providers can charge for their services and expect insurers to reimburse them for.
Which might be bad for the health care providers, but again I come back around to the uninsured. part of why the providers charge me so much for the service I get is that they are trying to recuperate the service to the unsired that they wind up eating the bill on.
But the whole shootin’ match will only work I think if everyone who currently doesn’t have insureance gets it, which would mean mandatory participation in some form of health insurance, no?
“But the whole shootin’ match will only work I think if everyone who currently doesn’t have insureance gets it, which would mean mandatory participation in some form of health insurance, no? ”
I’m sure some actuary has the numbers and has crunched them .. for both sides.
I’d agree that you’d have to have a great majority in order for things to fall in place.
I doubt it could happen overnight and would venture to say it would take a minimum of 36 months just to find all the uninsured and/or underinsured .. which brings about another point.
And some of the most lowly among the uninsured are still going to say they can’t pay $65 a month. Some of them will be right.
I think there should be a prorated sliding scale kinda thing like you say.
That also would keep the current private insurers from going off a cliff and laying off all their workers in the face of impossible new competition.
“I think there should be a prorated sliding scale kinda thing like you say.
That also would keep the current private insurers from going off a cliff and laying off all their workers in the face of impossible new competition. ”
That’s how the swedes did it. The insurance companies are doing better then they ever had now.
Of course, the government made it mandatory that EVERYONE be insured and .. their are incentives for being ‘healthy’.
When will Michele Bachmann have her investigation to find out if Franken is Pro America or Anti America? Oh wait…that’s just an urban legend that she said that. She never said that..no proof that she said that.
“To Tiny’s point - why would you pay 250 when you can pay 65?
Initially, maybe there should be a pro-rated premium, but based on the potential that should create a better market since the pool is growing.”
No No No Greg I want the same rate as “Beer Belly Joe” or lil’ Jones.
65 bucks
“That’s how the swedes did it. The insurance companies are doing better then they ever had now.
Of course, the government made it mandatory that EVERYONE be insured and .. their are incentives for being ‘healthy’. ”
You know, living in a Nanny State wouldn’t be so bad if the state sent a Swedish nanny to my house to reward me for being healthy.
If you want to relate our health care tangent to the main topic of this thread, here’s what Franken has to say about health care on his campaign site (he doesn’t have a site up yet on Senate.gov)
ttp://www.alfranken.com/pages/health_care/
I agree with some but not all of what he proposes. Don’t much like his idea of having every state run their own insurance program funded by the federal govt.
I like the idea of having single payer care for every child.
D!ckhead.
Hmmm… disappointed.
You know, living in a Nanny State wouldn’t be so bad if the state sent a Swedish nanny to my house to reward me for being healthy.
I saw this “chick flick” that had something like that.
“Hmmm… disappointed. ”
Crud .. wasted wit huh?
More disappointed in the lack of wit. I expected better. Soooooo disappointed…
“Soooooo disappointed…”
There’s a line from every “chick flick” EVER made!!
“More disappointed in the lack of wit. I expected better. Soooooo disappointed… ”
You’ve assimilated the wit of the chick flick ..
And once again KK hits the nail on the head love.
BTW, KK, I love what you’ve done with yourself! Your photo looks fabulous!
“And once again KK hits the nail on the head love.

This must be the female equivalent of Eddie Haskell ..
“Your photo looks fabulous!”
I think they followed Oprah’s soft lense strategy.
Retro ..
“This must be the female equivalent of Eddie Haskell ..”
Nothing Eddie Haskell about it…KK looks younger in this photo than the previous one.
Doesn’t hurt to compliment someone once in awhile.
Doesn’t hurt to compliment someone once in awhile.
What a lovely photo. Was that 1985?
I found a couple pictures of Dan. The first one is his high school photo, the second one is a little more recent.

Down boy.
I heard Michael Jackson died. Is this true?
diamondgrl where ya been? You must be off parole for that porn surfing awhile back.
“I heard Michael Jackson died. Is this true?”
Yep, another white guy named Michael Jackson died. It turns out he wasn’t Janet either.
I heard Michael Jackson died. Is this true?
I heard Sarah Palin died and Michael Jackson retired.
“I heard Michael Jackson died. Is this true?”
If I hear that one more time I’m going to go “Sahel Kazemi” on somebody.
If I hear that one more time I’m going to go “Sahel Kazemi” on somebody.
I love how everyone on this blog is very respectful of the dead. If you guys don’t show more respect, I’m going to be so upset I’ll imitate Sahel Kazemi’s last shot.
Very good story in the Strib about the 52 year old Lutheran pastor who says he paid exotic dancer Bunny Annette Byington (age 46) money to dance for him and to have sex.
Bunny allegedly started extorting hush money from the pastor in exchange for keeping the scandal from wifey and the flock. The preacher paid up for awhile, then cut Bunny off.
When no more cash came her way, Bunny sang. She even provided a photo to the flock, of the pastor in his fruit of the looms. Not a smart move by Bunny. The slimey preacher called the fuzz. The police nabbed poor Bunny and charged her with extortion.
Now I don’t have a problem with any of Bunny’s attempts to earn a living. Men always pay for sex in one way or another. Women always extort money from men in one way or another also.
If Bunny had hired an attorney when the preacher cut her off, instead of trying to be a do-it-yourselfer, she would have likely gotten some loot from both the church and the pastor as a settlement. A slick lawyer would have portrayed Bunny as a victim.
Instead, she left the middle man out of the deal. Lawyers don’t like that. Now she might go to the slammer. Sad. They should just leave her alone.
Judging from Bunny’s pic she probably felt herself lucky to get any dough at all. The preacher only gave Bunny a few thousand. I think many would pay poor old Bunny to keep her clothes on, rather than take them off. Not a good looking woman.
I noticed Bunny was from Moorhead. She badly needs a marketing gimmick. How about, “Get more head from Bunny from Moorhead”.
The gimmick wouldn’t work on me. I couldn’t do Bunny. I’m always sober however. Could work on some guys after they had a few belts. I wish Bunny well.
“I love how everyone on this blog is very respectful of the dead.”
DJ,
Don’t be so Schrupped. Go rent Purple Rain and mellow out.
Mr Leland,
That Bunny lady sounds to be quite the Wascally Wabbit.
What’s “Schrupped”?
I was being sarcastic anyways. Hench the Kazemi joke. Don’t make me treat you like Lennon, Greg!
I meant to say…
“Hence the Kazemi joke Liberal Mullet Greg!!”
This story should make national news and the club should be publicly embarrassed. It’s sad that this still happens…

“Certainly, I don’t think we can make a determination as to whether or not that’s been successful — certainly as successful as we want it to be, certainly not as quickly as we want it to be,” Hoyer, of Maryland, told reporters.
Ha! That’s just funny. I get what he’s trying to say, but what he’s actually saying is asinine.
Man dies after falling into vat of chocolate
Not Wonka!!
I love how everyone on this blog is very respectful of the dead.
I don’t understand why we’re supposed to be respectful of the dead.
They tend to smell worse than the armpit of an Azerbinijiwhosivhatsiwakistani NYC cab driver in August.
They attract a lot of flies.
They leak a lot of foul liquids. Especially unpleasant if you’re in the apartment directly below.

You just lost points with KK.
There was a great rock trio from Iowa called House of Large Sizes. Saw them a couple times at the Entry and the Turf Club. great band.
One of their records is entitled, “Idiots Out Wandering Around.”
“I was just pulling your pony tail greg.”
Sheesh,
Greg, I hope nobody tried to screw the back of your head when you down Mexico way.
There was a great rock trio from Iowa called… Slipknot? “Great” might be a bit of an exaggeration.

There’s not much of it left .. I contributed to ‘Locks of Love’ ..

“why has one person posted over 20 posts on this board, each post more intellectually arrogant than the one before? talk about being in love with the sound of your own voice. but a bore. a self-righteous bore.”
I am still trying to figure out who merryjoe is referring to.
Greg? No. There is proof he is not intellectual (his hair).
DJ? No. Damn smart guy, but an intllectual would never call himself DJ.
Mr. G? No. There are no intellectuals solely obsessed with feces.
leland8? Please. For the most part, I dropped out of school after third grade.
Deacon? Master Po spells worse than a guy who dropped out of school after third grade.
Mr. dare2? Nope. He can fake being an intellectual until you get to know him. After 20 posts, you know him. In reality, he’s actually a self-loathing liberal Democrat.
Mr. mthalo? Too funny for anyone to find him a bore.
Didaskalos? Doesn’t post enough to qualify.
Evil Mr. Fauvel? Hasn’t posted enough lately.
Mr. President tluck? Not arrogant enough to be the culprit.
Mr DT Danno? Sufficiently arrogant, but the intellectual stuff is mostly cut and paste.
Mr X2. Has to be the one. Not a bore, nor self-righteous, but more than enough intellectualism. Just an occassional hint of arrogance. Enough to pass. I think it’s all in the name. Underscores in a blog user name just scream “intellectually arrogant self righteous bore” even though he really isn’t. Yes, dubble_a_ron comes in as the most likely suspect by deduction. Plus, he figured it was probably him.
but an intllectual would never call himself DJ
My secret passion is to work “da clubs” in “da hood” and be the greatest disc jockey ever. I could be famous (for one night working the Independent).

That’s prejudice.

Good luck spinning the Bee Gee’s with chick flick video’s in background ..
dude.
“Bee Gee’s”
Didn’t these guys actually do a few good songs when they first started? Way back before the helium voice. Before they were “big”. Before the grease and fever stuff. Before all that awful stuff. Maybe I have a false memory.

Mr DT Danno? Sufficiently arrogant, but the intellectual stuff is mostly cut and paste.
It’s a lazy thing.
“Underscores in a blog user name just scream “intellectually arrogant self righteous bore” even though he really isn’t. ”
Now that’s funny. And thanks for sticking up for me, in leland fashion.
As I sit and think, who else does the underscore thing? Ohmigod.
marketplace_of_ideas
Definitely an arrogant s_o_b.
But somehow I did enjoy bantering with him.
I’m trying not to feel too bad about myself after merryjoe’s chastisement. To be sure, several of the things I said could lead one to think that about me, I suppose, If you haven’t taken in the whole context of everything I’ve said on this blog.
I don’t think my prolific posts stem from being in love with my own written voice, so much as being distractable from my work and being genuinely interested in dialog with the other voices I encounter here (though I wouldn’t say I’m in love with them, either).
Actually I wondered if merryjoe wasn’t just my wife who popped in to see what I was up to here and was offended by my first post on this thread. If that’s the case she hasn’t fessed up yet. How passive-aggressive would that be?
“How passive-aggressive would that be?”
How much Norwegian blood does she have in her?

Leland,
The Bee Gee’s were great in the 60’s, much better than their disco crap in the 70’s.
“If you haven’t taken in the whole context of everything I’ve said on this blog.”

Obama supporters on video. Pretty funny!
D2 is going to be so disappointed when he finds out those aren’t real people but actors cribbing from a 1960’s Pollack Jokes for the John book.

I suppose that for some of us, adding the http, colon, forward slash x 2 is difficult.
Especially for those in the picture ..
“More Michele Bachmann bashing from extremist liberals. At least Greg’s link doesn’t wotk. ”
So … is Tiny an extremist liberal D2?
Perhaps you’re the extremist and the majority of us are common sense moderates.
Wait .. you can go ahead and remove perhaps from that previous sentance.
Mr G, I hope you and everyone else realize I was just teasing my blog friends a little after merryjoe’s comment. I think you are all smart people and I don’t think of anyone here as a “self-righteous bore”. I tried to list the people I like to read, but I missed listing many favorite people.
I think Mr dubble_a_ron has the ability to be a professional writer. He is wonderful at sentence structure and conveying thoughts via the written word. He is also a bit of an egghead, so he was fun to tease.
Sometimes people take teasing the wrong way. If I offended you, Mr G, I apologize. Same goes to everyone else.
I think of people here as my brothers and sisters who I love very much. That is silly sentiment maybe. If you don’t feel comfortable with that, you can pretend that I hate you or something.
“Mr Leland
What else do you mount?”
Nothing and no one. Bone dry. We are not talking here about some minor draught. We are talking about being in the midst of the dust bowl days.
“Sometimes people take teasing the wrong way. If I offended you, Mr G, I apologize. Same goes to everyone else.”
I didn’t mind a bit ..
it means you care.
I love you man …
but I don’t love you like the man to man love thing .. you know .. the physical way cuz I’m just not into that kinda thing ..
but I don’t mind that others are unless they’re hypocritical like that one senator from Utah ..
or this one guy I know in Big Lake.
Hey Dan, I thought youd like to see this AM radio conspiracy.
“FEMALE CALLER (31:50): He (Michael Jackson) is truly the soundtrack of my life. I also have a theory about Sarah Palin as well and I’m going to put it out there on radio, hopefully someone can investigate.
But, I think maybe she did something to Michael Jackson. Maybe there’s a scandal there. Maybe she’s stepping down because something’s about to come out. I don’t know, but I’m gonna just put it out there on your show so we’ll see.
SHARPTON: All right, thank you for your call, Ashley. That’s interesting. I’ll put it out, we’ll see. I don’t know.”
Mr Greg, You asked the other day if I had knowledge about firearms or something like that.
I learned about guns, when I was about eight years old. Maybe seven. My grandfather’s guns were at our home when he was in the hospital and rehabilitation home. My mother suggested I play with Grandpa’s guns, and that is how I first learned about them.
I recommend gun training by all from an expert. Don’t learn as I did. Guns need to be taken very seriously as mistakes can easily happen, sometimes with irreversible consequences. I shot myself in the head as a youngster, so I know what I am talking about. This is no joke.
Master Po, Is that a spoof? If that was a real call, I think she was messing with Sharpton. Anyway, funny as can be.
“I suppose that for some of us, adding the http, colon, forward slash x 2 is difficult.”
Greg, you know is is possible to post a link which works without making people screw around, just don’t add the ht*p which gets blocked.
Ever wonder why mine work and yours don’t?
“Ever wonder why mine work and yours don’t?”
If I had a dime for everytime I saw you b:tch about your links not working I could open my own bank.
Ever wonder why mine work and yours don’t?
The only way a link becomes an actual link on here is if it starts with “www.”. It can’t start with the h*tp://. Greg’s link didn’t start with www. so it doesn’t show up as a link. If you copy and paste Greg’s link, you’ll get to the site’s just fine. I’d like to see you try to link those two sites D2. With the www. it won’t come out as a link. There is some way to do it, but I don’t know how… Ask Dora on the BQ or EBF here, I bet they’d know.
DJ,
I can make Greg’s links work, it’s just that I always try to create a decent hyperlink with the ht*p which get’s blocked, much like the words Soci@list and Moh@mmed.
“Ever wonder why mine work and yours don’t? ”
They do?
Normally your links go to something that has absolutely no value…
here’s an example:
Maybe this is easier for you D2.

or this D2?
I can make Greg’s links work, it’s just that I always try to create a decent hyperlink with the ht*p which get’s blocked
That’s like saying “I can write Soci@alist on here, but it always gets blocked.” If it gets blocked, you can’t write it.
And Mohammed doesn’t get blocked.
I just got blog murdered on my local paper’s site.
That website has a profanity filter installed in their comments section, which automatically takes the offending word, and substitutes it with something more “appropriate”. This is what happens with some innocent phrases….
“The rooster says, c0ck a doodle doo.”
gets converted to,
“The rooster says, rooster a doodle doo”
“The Dick van Dyke show was great”
gets converted to,
“The Dick van woman who loves other women show was great”
I’m diabetic, so I prick my finger every day.

I’m diabetic, so I male reproductive organ my finger every day.
The old classic, FVCK, gets converted to FRELL.
I got murdered for making the discovery that while FVCK will get changed, FVCKING and MOTHERFVCKER don’t, which I pointed out to the masses.
They decided I knew too much.
I always thought a dyke was a protective tidal wall used to keep costal cities from flooding?
With information like that, you should have held out and tried to see what they will pay you to not tell.
That’s a “dike”.
“They decided I knew too much.”
I believe you will go down in blog history ..
as opposed to going down on blog history.
Which would probably get you blog murdered .. wait .. you’d get sentanced to blog jail.

This statement coming from one who knows 13 year old girls very well!
DJ, how was the Jonas Bros. concert?
Pedophilia jokes? I guess I shouldn’t expect more from Liberal Mullet Greg!
“DJ, how was the Jonas Bros. concert?”
Didn’t he say it was a little better than Gwen Stephanie?
DJ, how was the Jonas Bros. concert?
Awesome! They had this board in the background and you could send Twitter messages to it and it would show it on the board! How sweet is that!?
“Pedophilia jokes? I guess I shouldn’t expect more from Liberal Mullet Greg! ”
It wasn’t a joke .. just an observation however ….
Then they walked out on this platform and I got a water bottle that they threw into the crowd! I bought a case for it and it sits on my nightstand right to my Jonas Brothers’ bobbleheads, which are autographed.
“Awesome! They had this board in the background and you could send Twitter messages to it and it would show it on the board! How sweet is that!? ”

I’m kind of afraid to ask.
Whats twitter?

Hannah must be jealous.
I’m kind of afraid to ask.
I said, “Liberal Mullet Greg, meet me at the entrance after the concert.”
as opposed to going down on blog history.
Well, they make that difficult. This is how those words translate (of course, I can’t even get the originals to post here)
Fell-8-io = naughty word for oral pleasure
cunn-e-lingus = oral pleasure
Blaujobbe = oral fixation
coquesuquer = unmentionableer
“I said, “Liberal Mullet Greg, meet me at the entrance after the concert.” ”
Which means D2 was waiting for you right?

I’m going to drink some beer, chew some tobacco, beat up some big people, and kick a cat after this super gay conversation.

Did “LMG” or D2 buy it for you?
Since you brought the gay thing up, I’m thinking D2.
“I’m going to drink some beer, chew some tobacco, beat up some big people, and kick a cat after this super gay conversation. ”
And then you’ll end up in prison and become someone’s girlfriend ..
maybe they’ll have chick flick night there?
Did “LMG” or D2 buy it for you?
Who is LMG?
And then you’ll end up in prison
Naw… I’ll avoid that.
“Who is LMG?”
Liberal Mullet Greg.
Ha! Liberal Mullet Greg, you should change your blog moniker or Liberal Mullet Greg. Embrace your identity.
Hey Dan, I thought youd like to see this AM radio conspiracy.
It’s almost the end of the week and you haven’t made your false equivalency quota yet?

Hey, d2 — explain this. www.startribune.com/politics/national/congress/50534812.html?elr=KArks8c7PaP3E77K_3c::D3aDhUec7PaP3E77K_0c::D3aDhUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aUUr
“Hey, d2 — explain this.”
I think the Obama administration should stop breaking the law and shut the program down.
I think the Obama administration should stop breaking the law and shut the program down.
I agree 100%!
“Hey, d2 — explain this”
I would have to know more about it. All we know for sure is that the Star Democrat Tribune has an extreme liberal bias. If Obama is using this tool to go after conservatives instead of terrorists, then yes, there is a problem.
d2, you’re a piece of work.
First, the story is not the Strib’s. It’s being reported in all of the major media outlets.
Second, you have completely misapprehended what the story is all about. It isn’t about Obama going after conservatives (if only!). It’s that the Bush administration’s illegal warrantless wiretapping program was just the tip of the iceberg!
For all of your fretting over Obama’s “liberal soci@list agenda,” you have failed to comprehend that your own party permitted the most sweeping illegal invasion of privacy ever committed by our government!
So, is illegal spying on American citizens OK all the time, or only when Republicans do it?
Evil,
I don’t have a problem with intercepting terrorist communication Evil, especially since we’re still at war, and Bush did a great job preventing another terror attack like 9-11. I think the lib’s are continuing to attack Bush to divert attention away from how badly they are handling the economy.
d2, Bush wasn’t intercepting only “terrorist communication.” He was wiretapping the communications of innocent, law-abiding American citizens without a warrant, in violation of the law. And now we find out that this was only the beginning. We may never know to what extent he illegally violated our privacy.
I think conservatives are continuing to attack Obama to divert attention away from the criminal acts of Bush & Co.
You know that you’d be calling for Obama’s head had he been in charge when these warrantless wiretaps were approved. Neo-cons like Michele Barfmann are all up in arms about an Obama administration’s imagined “invasion of privacy” — but they express no outrage when their own party has been shown to have actually committed the very invasions they wail might come from Obama!
And you didn’t answer my question, so I’ll ask it again: is illegal spying on American citizens OK all the time, or only when Republicans do it?
“And you didn’t answer my question, so I’ll ask it again: is illegal spying on American citizens OK all the time, or only when Republicans do it?”
If it was illegal, then no I don’t agree with it, but was it really illegal? Again, in a time of war like this and knowing that we have dangerous Islamist terrorists living among us such as in the Somali community, I think we should give the FBI all the terror fighting tools they need.
It’s funny how liberals are up in arms about what they consider “illegal wiretapping”, but they love illegal immigration.
but was it really illegal?
Yes, d2, it was.
Again, in a time of war like this and knowing that we have dangerous Islamist terrorists living among us such as in the Somali community, I think we should give the FBI all the terror fighting tools they need.
I do too — but it must be done lawfully, within the framework of the Constitution. Even Congress was unaware of most of these secret provisions, and it is Congress — not the president — who should be approving and overseeing them.
Do you think we should just flush the Constitution down the toilet whenever we’re at war?
It’s funny how liberals are up in arms about what they consider “illegal wiretapping”, but they love illegal immigration.
Ah, yes, it always comes back to liberals and illegal immigration, doesn’t it? The world would be a wonderful place and we’d all live happily ever after if only we could get rid of illegal immigration (and liberals, of course).
I’ve said it before that I do not support illegal immigration — and I consider myself a social liberal (I’m a fiscal moderate).
Evil,
I haven’t looked much into the wiretapping issue, but there is no doubt in my mind that it probably saved thousands of American lives. Can you name any innocent people who were actually harmed by this policy?
I’m glad you don’t support illegal imigration, but most liberal democrats and many RINO republicans seem to like it. I would keep my eye on the democrat controlled House and Senate, they will again try again to sneak in amnesty for illegals followed by free taxpayer funded health care for them as well.
“I’m glad you don’t support illegal imigration, but most liberal democrats and many RINO republicans seem to like it. ”
You define moron.
Nobody likes illegal immigration, but most people are compassionate for those trying to make something of their lives.
And before you go off on your illegal immigrants commiting criminal acts, remember that there are legal citizens doing it as well … and in larger numbers.
When it is going to get through that empty melon on your shoulders that evil doesn’t apply itself strictly by race ..
or don’t they teach you that at your favorite church/conservative gospel preaching platform.
I haven’t looked much into the wiretapping issue, but there is no doubt in my mind that it probably saved thousands of American lives. Can you name any innocent people who were actually harmed by this policy?
No I can’t — but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any.
I can tell you that some people have been harmed by Bush’s illegal, unconstitutional scheme — people like librarians who were forced to produce records of patrons, and then told that if they breathed a word of it to anyone they’d be arrested. (At least that was eventually found to be a violation of free speech rights.)
And since most people will never know what information, thought to be private, was examined by the government, we’ll probably never know if anyone was harmed. Just because you’re ignorant of a crime committed against you doesn’t mean that you’re not a victim of the crime. I would consider it a criminal violation of my privacy if the government were keeping tabs on my credit card purchases, whether or not I knew they were doing it. It’s not that I have anything to hide, but I do have a reasonable expectation that most of my life will remain private and shielded from prying government eyes.
The problem with the wiretaps, d2, is that they were not targeted against specific individuals. Rather, the government sifted through citizens’ privte information trying to find things. That’s a violation of our constitutional protection from unreasonable searches.
When I learned that most of the cellular phone companies complied with the government’s illegal request to sift through data, I switched my cellular service to a company that refused to cave in to Bush and his cronies (it’s Working Assets, now known as CREDO). Remember all the uproar when Congress voted to grant immunity to the telecoms for violation of privacy laws? It was all about the warrantless wiretapping.
And now we learn that there’s a lot more to the story than warrantless wiretapping. I’d say I can’t believe that you actually support this kind of government intrusion, but nothing you believe surprises me anymore.
Greg says:
“Nobody likes illegal immigration”
Wrong again Greg. The modern day democrat soci@list party likes illegal immigration because they know they are importing future democrat voters who will vote for redistribution of wealth and amnesty. This is also helpful to them in places like Minnesota where voter fraud is very easy to get away with.
“No I can’t”
I didn’t think so, thanks for your honesty. I guess if we saved potentially thousands of lives while not having any innocent Americans claiming that their rights were violated, it’s sounds like a pretty good policy to me Evil.
My 7 year old son and two of his friends claim that they saw a couple of UFO’s last night. Red lights alternating between bright and dim red, and moving in up, down, sideways directions. A few years back there were several reports of UFO’s in Sherburne Country.
Pretty weird, huh?
“My 7 year old son and two of his friends claim that they saw a couple of UFO’s last night. Red lights alternating between bright and dim red, and moving in up, down, sideways directions. A few years back there were several reports of UFO’s in Sherburne Country.

What are you doing to those kids?
“I didn’t think so, thanks for your honesty. I guess if we saved potentially thousands of lives while not having any innocent Americans claiming that their rights were violated, it’s sounds like a pretty good policy to me Evil. ”
Until it’s your rights violated …
“Wrong again Greg. The modern day democrat soci@list party likes illegal immigration because they know they are importing future democrat voters who will vote for redistribution of wealth and amnesty. This is also helpful to them in places like Minnesota where voter fraud is very easy to get away with. ”
You’ve yet to prove anyone likes it.
You do provide ‘theories’ which at best are questionable.
But you provide absolutely NO proof.
You’re nutz D2.
“Until it’s your rights violated …”
I don’t care, let them monitor me, I’ve got nothing to hide. If it comes to a choice between the FBI having access to my communications or Somali’s blowing up the Mall of America killing thousands of innocent Minnesotan’s, I would choose the first.
“You’ve yet to prove anyone likes it.”
Look at nutcase Al Franken. He voted against the much needed border fence because he knows the democrat party will benefit from these future democrat voters.
“I don’t care, let them monitor me, I’ve got nothing to hide. If it comes to a choice beotween the FBI having access to my communications or Somali’s blowing up the Mall of America killing thousands of innocent Minnesotan’s, I would choose the first.”
Sure .. until someone decides that what youa’re saying and/or doing is subversive and you end up in jail ..
wait ..
that would only play into one of your fantasies.
Freedom comes with a price …
“Look at nutcase Al Franken. He voted against the much needed border fence because he knows the democrat party will benefit from these future democrat voters. ”
So .. should we call you pot?
And you know why his vote was cast that way how?
Again, show the proof D2.
“And you know why his vote was cast that way how?”
Because he’s a liberal Greg, that’s what liberals do.
“Because he’s a liberal Greg, that’s what liberals do. ”
So in other words there is no proof … just another of your schizo paranoid theories.
You like to spread lies and misinformation don’t you ..
D2 .. since you’re not afraid of your private information being disclose perhaps you’d like to tell us all you’re real name, your address, your phone number(s), your place of employment, your bank account nbr’s, your credit card #’s, the names of your children, the same information for your brothers and sisters as-well-as your mother and father.
I mean, you never know .. maybe we can save you or something.

Later guys, I’m off to shear more Chrismas trees in the back 40 (I wish).
I have plenty of nice trees, Colorado Blue Spruce, Norway pine, White Pine, etc., and if anyone knows of a family who wants a real Christmas tree later this year but can’t afford one, I would be happy to give some away.

I don’t know EBF - It sounds more like a bunch of politicians are pissed off that they’re not important enough to be briefed on the highly classified information. And the Democrats who are screaming bloody murder, when it is revealed that they were briefed, they are just going to say, “It was classified and I couldn’t say that I knew”. Pretty much just like what happened with Pelosi earlier this year.
I don’t know EBF - It sounds more like a bunch of politicians are pissed off that they’re not important enough to be briefed on the highly classified information.
Probably. Still, the more I learn about this “program,” the more it sounds like I live in a police state — which is ironic, because the party that professes to oppose such states was the one creating it!
“Probably. Still, the more I learn about this “program,” the more it sounds like I live in a police state — which is ironic, because the party that professes to oppose such states was the one creating it!”
You liberals can whine about Bush all you want, but I’m sure that if Obama was in Bush’s place during that period, we would have been hit hard again 9-11 style.
It’s also interesting how North Korea senses a weak liberal President and is therefore pulling the crap it is. Biden opened up his mouth earlier and divulged that stuff like this would happen, another example of Biden pissing off Obama.
We need another strong conservative like Ronald Reagan in the White House to keep terrorist thugs like this in line.
“We need another strong conservative like Ronald Reagan in the White House to keep terrorist thugs like this in line. ”
No, we need a president that is going to get the rest of the world to help get RID of the issue.
But I suppose you’re okay with just keeping them quelled until someone you don’t like is in office ..
so you have something to blame on them.
“No, we need a president that is going to get the rest of the world to help get RID of the issue.”
Anti-Semite liberals like Jimmy Carter who side with the terrorist group Hamas really complicate the issue Greg. How can we convince the rest of the world that Islamist terrorist thugs are bad guys when even one of our own former Presidents sides with them?
I guess you can’t trust liberals with our economy OR our national security.
but I’m sure that if Obama was in Bush’s place during that period, we would have been hit hard again 9-11 style.
Actually D2, in case you haven’t noticed, Obama is keeping pretty much all of Bush’s security policies in place.
From my link earlier:
In a separate but related move, House Democrats are pressing for legislation that would expand congressional access to secret intelligence briefings. The Obama administration has threatened to veto it over concerns about protecting secrecy.
I’m sure that if Obama was in Bush’s place during that period, we would have been hit hard again 9-11 style.
That’s just speculation, d2. If we get through four (or eight) years of an Obama presidency without another 9/11-style attack, will you credit Obama?
Actually D2, in case you haven’t noticed, Obama is keeping pretty much all of Bush’s security policies in place.
Yup. And it’s another reason (besides Obama’s inaction on GLBT rights) that my support for Obama is beginning to wane.
I’m sure that if Obama was in Bush’s place during that period, we would have been hit hard again 9-11 style.
Don’t forget that Bush was our president when 9-11 happened!
“Anti-Semite liberals like Jimmy Carter who side with the terrorist group Hamas really complicate the issue Greg. How can we convince the rest of the world that Islamist terrorist thugs are bad guys when even one of our own former Presidents sides with them? ”
So anyone who realizes that both sides have some work to do are anti-semite?
You’re full of it ..
Why is it that you’re convinced we should just push other countries around and not get flack for it .. and worse, we get attacked?
That’s the attitude that causes things to happen.
Would you go into NE Mpls dressed in your nazi outfit on a Saturday night D2?
Would you go into NE Mpls dressed in your nazi outfit on a Saturday night D2?
Or in your Klan attire?
Or in your Klan attire?
That’s what I was thinking!
“Don’t forget that Bush was our president when 9-11 happened!”
Sure, right after 8 years of Bill Clinton dismantling our intelligence gathering capabilities. You can’t trust our national security to liberal democrats.
“Would you go into NE Mpls dressed in your nazi outfit on a Saturday night D2?”
Adolph Hitler was the leader of Germany’s National Soc@list Party, and had a lot in common with today’s Democrat Soci@list Party, and no, I don’t agree with their thinking.
d2, you can’t have it both ways. You can’t blame a former Democratic administration for things that happen on a Republican administration’s watch if you’re going to blame a current Democratic administration for things that happen on its watch.
But of course on your sick, sorry, warped plane of reality, it’s always the fault of the liberals, the democrats, the soci@lists, the illegal immigrants, and any evidence to the contrary be damned.
“But of course on your sick, sorry, warped plane of reality, it’s always the fault of the liberals, the democrats, the soci@lists, the illegal immigrants, and any evidence to the contrary be damned. ”
You forgot to mention the fault is also assigned to Somali’s, African American’s, and other assorted races.
See, most of the drivel you see from D2 is driven by one thing …
prejudice.
Which implies a lack of intelligence.
Bearing that in mind, his words have no value….
You forgot to mention the fault is also assigned to Somali’s, African American’s, and other assorted races.
On the far-flung plane where d2’s world is found, wouldn’t all African-Americans be liberal democrats, and aren’t all Somalis illegal immigrants?
Which implies a lack of intelligence.
Accuse d2 of intelligence? Perish the thought!
“On the far-flung plane where d2’s world is found, wouldn’t all African-Americans be liberal democrats, and aren’t all Somalis illegal immigrants?”
I’d suppose you’re correct .. and may I add that ‘plane’ would involve the homosexual community and Catholics (interesting since it applies to today’s article by KK).
Prejudice has no boundaries.
This is purely an observation, but I believe D2 suffered some bad experiences in his past which were interpretted on a global basis…
those experiences are imbedded and he’s unwilling to face them and subsequently take responsibility for understanding them.
In short, he needs help and perhaps we should all try to send him a prayer or special thought.

Or a good psychoan@lyst!
“Or a good psychoan@lyst! ”
Isn’t that what Michelle Bachman’s husband does?
Wait ..
nah ..
